Hybrid working services provider IWG has announced plans to open four new centers in Malaysia, located in Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya, and Johor. These new additions will expand IWG’s presence in the country to 42 centers, operating under its four brands: Regus, Spaces, HQ, and Signature.

Following the recent opening at Puchong Financial Corporate Centre, IWG will be launching a 12,971-square-foot HQ hub at AmBank Tower in Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, a 16,533-square-foot Regus center will be introduced at Prima-9 in Cyberjaya, a key location within Malaysia’s high-tech district and Multimedia Super Corridor.

These new centers are scheduled to open between April and September, joining IWG’s global network of 4,000 locations across 120 countries.

Vijayakumar Tangarasan, the country head of Malaysia at IWG, highlighted that these expansions are part of the company’s broader growth strategy. The goal is to provide more flexible workspace options, ensuring that employees can access professional environments conveniently, which has become a top priority for workers worldwide.

The new centers will be accessible through IWG’s on-demand global membership.

Over the past two years, IWG has opened five new centers in Malaysia. In 2023 alone, the company added 867 new locations to its global portfolio, including 163 new sites in the Asia-Pacific region.

IWG will also launch two new centers in Johor: a 14,973-square-foot HQ center in Menara Pelangi, near the Malaysia-Singapore border, and a 12,497-square-foot Regus center at Medini Lakeside, a mixed-use area close to the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link bridge.
